Designs CWL is a small maker studio currently based in East Melbourne, Australia.
We design & create custom designed stationary, homewares, lifestyle products & engage in small product design projects.
We also specialise in polishing & finishing for wood, metal & ceramic.
Our Belief
At Designs CWL, we most strongly believe all our work is :
Handmade.
Functional.
Elegant. Ergonomic.
If something we may possibly have to design and create doesn't have at least two beliefs from above (we can always work on the third !
...then we really aren't interested.
Our Passion
Nothing drives us with more passion than good design, especially when involving such tactile materials like wood, metal and ceramic.
Of the three, wood calls on our most primal senses and excites us like nothing else.
So the more wood design we do, the better...
